Well, we began another year of rock and roll summer camp today. This year we tried a slightly different approach: we have started with small sectional lessons. Here is my view of how it went:

Guitar Players: We worked on basic chords and barre chords. I was really just evaluating where everyone is ability wise. Another good group with some seasoned veterans. Songs - Wild Thing, Satisfaction. Tomorrow we will work on a lot more songs.

Bass players: Wild Thing, Satisfaction, Wipe out and Rawhide. A smaller group with really only one brand new face. Tomorrow, also more songs.

Drums: A lot of fun! Colleen got the party started with a Santana groove. Sammy Fried played some great keyboards too.

Vocals: All girls (come on guys I know there are some singers out there!). Great session: Wild thing, Hello I Love You, Satisfaction. Tomorrow - new songs!

Horns and violin: Off to a good start. we need to add a trumpet though.

All in all a great day!
